Leading a session on "Towards a Localist Policy Agenda" at the BALLE Conference
Description: There comes a time in every movement when the creative, effective, and inspiring successes in dispersed communities reach a critical mass that makes deep system-wide change possible. Now is that time in the Localist movement, and one of the elements needed to catalyze this next transformation is a shared framework for pursuing policy changes at the local, state, and federal levels. This session will explore and advance the beginning of a shared Localist policy agenda that can support, augment, and underpin our individual advocacy and policy-change initiatives.
